Our prevention posters, cards and bookmarks are visually appealing and filled with facts and action steps designed to change attitudes, and ultimately, behavior. They have been designed to use in a wide variety of settings. Schools, dorms, health fairs and parent meetings are natural and obvious choices. However, physicians' offices break rooms at work sites and elevators are wonderful, yet not so obvious places, to reach parents and community citizens. Our bookmarks make great paycheck stuffers and can be given out in both school and public libraries. Our 5 x 7 cards may be mailed to target audiences or distributed in the same manner as our rack cards - to emergency rooms, driver's license bureaus, fitness centers - the choice is endless. They may be given out to parents at open houses, to students during class scheduling, or before high risk times, such as homecoming, prom and spring break. The alcohol poisoning cards may be given to both parents and youth to help avert a tragedy by knowing when to seek medical help. Realizing that everyone has a role to play in underage drinking prevention, the removable decals are a great way to send a strong message, and are perfect for cooler doors in grocery and liquor stores or for display on club and bar doors and windows. Preventing and reducing underage drinking ultimately requires changing community norms. Many of our items target adults, as we know far too many still condone underage drinking, considering it an acceptable 'rite of passage'. Our materials, used in conjunction with other prevention strategies, can assist you in helping your young people make good choices while helping your community establish new norms. |
